Twins!

On Wednesday we learned all about Enlightenment thinkers and the new waves of political thought that dominated the eighteenth century.  Somehow Jenna and Debbie ended up wearing matching outfits for their presentation on Montesquieu!  ... Zack found it very peculiar.

French Revolution Review

I'll be showing a short (23 minute) video that reviews that French Revolution next Tuesday morning at 8:00am.  Attendance is completely optional, but I think this film could benefit all of you.  Specifically the film will cover the storming of the Bastille, the beheading of King Louis XVI and Robespierre's Reign of Terror... fun!

Extra Credit Film Review

There will be an extra credit film screening next Tuesday (February 10th) after school from approximately 3:45 - 5:45.  The film will be Marie Antoinette and will review information covered in class concerning the French Revolution.

Unit 3 Test Review

As we're busy moving on with material for unit 4, the unit 3 test review (where you can see your grade and ask inquire about any missed questions) will be Monday (February 9th) morning at 8:00am in my classroom.  If you can't make it to this session, you may schedule a time with me before or after school to review your test.

Extra Credit Film Review

Due to a series of rescheduling, you'll be able to do this extra credit film review at home.  There are no specific questions regarding this film, just watch it and give me your opinion of it.  Also, make sure to spend a significant portion of your film review focusing on the historical relevancy of the film.  You can find the movie at most local Blockbusters or you can ask me to borrow my copy.  The review will be due by Friday, March 13th at the latest... Ooh... Friday the 13th... Spooky.
